DHL Express is a division of the German logistics company Deutsche Post DHL providing international courier, parcel, and express mail services. With our team mainly focusing on DHL U.S.’s digital presence and social content, we really pushed to create eye-catching yet smart social content that had a timely hook and relevance on Twitter. We wanted to be where the trending conversations were, where the industry influencers explored, and where businesses could go to learn about how they can Go Global with DHL.
Using the idea of the mobile world clock.
Our team created short, animated videos to mark the New Year in real-time for five major cities in five different time zones across the globe.
Each time a new “New Year” hit for one of the cities, a tweet with the animated video was posted.
It started with Sydney 8am EST and ended with New York 12am EST.
A set of unique DHL emojis was designed that showcased DHL’s recognizable delivery vehicles and packaging to celebrate World Emoji Day on July 17th.
In observance of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, this animated video was created to provide tips to users on ways to protect themselves and their businesses from a cyberattack.
Using the upcoming March Madness craze as our inspiration and timely hook, our team created its own championship bracket for DHL.
